What's the story with the "Invictus" tatoo?
Invictus is a poem by William Ernest Henley that he wrote in a hospital while being treated for tuberculosis of the bone. Henley had contracted the disease when he was very young but shortly before he wrote the poem he'd had his foot amputated. Invictus is about courage in the face of death, and maintaining dignity despite the struggles life forces upon us.
